I used alot of medium sized bark nuggets in our landscaping. Just after one year they have lost their color and viberance. Is there any way to bring them back to life?

No you cannot revive old mulch, pine bark. However, you can till it into the ground to enrich your soil. Each year you will have to refresh your pine bark. You can leave the pine bark where it is and add more to top it off.

The purpose of mulch is to retain moisture.  I live in south Louisiana.  We replinish our mulch every 6 months.
